Materials | Week 8

I used the skills taught in creating a loft to construct my sun-room. This was my second try. I also explored materialism.

Shapes and Assemblies |Week 5

Getting introduced to Fusion 360.

This was my second go at a transition space that was sat well within the my living room. It serves as a corridor.

Lighting workshop | Week 7

This week was understanding what importance light was in a spatial context. During the week, my iterative model making process involved experimenting various styles of sun-rooms, with bare minimum materials. 

Sketching and Physical Model Making | Week 5

I chose my living room to carry out this project. Drawing of a plan and building the base model helped me in getting an understanding of the functionality of the space I was in. It also helped me realised traits and aspects of the space as well. 

Sunlight - It was a rare occurrence in my living room and when it did make an appearance it was most welcome. I got the idea of incorporating a sun room like interior addition that would diffuse the strong light that comes in to my space.

Folding Techniques

Being introduced to the art of paper folding techniques, I explored it as a medium of communication. I used the 'masu-box' folding technique to depict the external facade of my living space which is brick.
